Vision

FUSCOM is representative at the district, national and international levels; in the defense of the deaf and vulnerable community of Colombia and the world; and exists to improve the quality of their lives on our planet by protecting and maintaining natural resources needed in support of the human population.

Mission

FUSCOM intends to promote successful programs to the satisfaction and realization of the necessities of the deaf and vulnerable population of Colombia and the World in the areas of employment, education, housing, health, communications, sports and entertainment mediums in the domestic, national and international area. FUSCOM hopes to accomplish this by providing educational, occupational and skills training along with spiritual counseling opportunities at the local and national level according to the legal laws established through the Nations Constitution.

Objectives and goals

The principal purpose of the FOUNDATION FOR THE DEAF AND VULNERABLE POPULATION OF COLOMBIA AND THE WORLD, FUSCOM, sshall be to provide for the this population in the area of employment, education, housing, health, spiritual counsel and communication and entertainment with the following purposes:

1. To promote employment for the deaf and vulnerable population of Colombia in the areas of agrarian, industrial, commercial, financial and utilities technologies.
2. To develop activities to protect the non renewable and renewable natural resources of the environment. (Protecting Natural Resources).
3. Promote Human Rights among these populations with the guarantee of freedom of expression and freedom of speech..
4. Create, manage and develop special programs to protect and improve the life conditions for the deaf and vulnerable population in Colombia and the World.
5. To initiate and develop raffles, games, shows and events of commercial, sportive and entertaining character at local, national and international levels, according to regulations in effect to obtain funds in order to finance the FOUNDATION FOR THE DEAF AND VULNRABLE POPULATION OF COLOMBIA AND THE WORLD, FUSCOM.
6. To represent our associates in public and private institutions in normal and judicial processes in person at domestic, municipal, district, national and international level with the objective to obtain and insure their benefits.
7. To give technical advisory and directional assistance through counseling and conciliatory mediation effecting the Deaf and Vulnerable Population of Colombia.
8. Advocate and develop programs to insure that justice will be an effective instrument in obtaining appropriate venues for social cohabitation and promote various mechanisms for conflicts solution according to regulations in force for conciliation, advocacy and friendly reconstruction of relationships domestically.
9. To promote the development of educational, occupational skills and spiritual training on every level of academic competence free and fully sponsored by private and public institutions.
10. To promote representation and advocacy for the deaf and Vulnerable communities Nationwide, and internationally.
11. . To promote and establish within FUSCOM groups and committees according their residence, likes, professions, occupations, affinities; combining the fulfillment of FUSCOM’s objectives.
12. To develop and promote solidarity (common cause) within FUSCOM members and other similar organizations, encouraging harmony with all who share similar interests.
13. To insure compliance with the laws, decrees, regulations, agreements or decrees related to the objectives that favor the associates and the community in general.
14. To encourage participation in Government General Boards, that develops programs and objectives related to the foundation.
15. To request from national and international entities, private or public character, the assignment of economic, technical, material or physical resources for the performance of Foundation’s purposes.
16. To create, manage and execute House Programs for the deaf and vulnerable population of Colombia.
17. To promote visibility between FUSCOM associates (partners) and governmental, public and private ministrations.
18. To create, manage and develop training programs for the deaf and vulnerable population.
19. To manufacture, sell, distribute and trade all kin of goods and/or services.
20. To edit or publish all kind of printed material, audiovisual or digital related with FUSCOM objectives and purposes.
21. To exert rights and sign liabilities in acts of its own nature, so that it will be able to obtain all kind of goods, movables, materials, equipments that make it possible to function according to its goals, as also the organization shall be able to transfer and tax its assets, administrating in general, it shall be able to enter into all kind of acts and contracts according to the laws in force.
22. To act as the primary facilitator assisting the Government of Colombia to assure that other entities who desire to assist or work within the deaf and vulnerable communities of Colombia are ably qualified according to the Constitution and precepts of Colombia’s Laws.
